ASTA Solo Competition

ASTA’s National Solo Competition will be held from March 18th-21st, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. The competition is open to ASTA student members or students of a current ASTA member with instrument categories of Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Harp and Guitar. Required repertoire has been recently announced and is listed on ASTA’s website.

MA-ASTA will sponsor Massachusetts preliminary round in late October/early November 2008. Winners selected at that live audition will be invited to submit a recording to the national semi-final screening and 2 - 3 finalists in each category will be chosen to compete in person at the national finals in Atlanta. Details of the Massachusetts auditions will be available in Spring 2008.
